DTAP SHOT!!

Hi,I'm 34 weeks and my doc gave me my flu shot, but told me I had to wait to receive my dtap shop until after delivery bc that way I won't spread to baby after he is born. I thought I received it while he is in the womb so he will have the vaccine in him!! Help anyone!!

I was told the same! The whole point of getting the shot is so it transfers to the baby to protect him/her. Id defiantly ask again!

That is weird. I got my tdap shot on Friday and on the paper it said it was best to get it between 28-34 weeks. Maybe u should ask your doc again.
