DVT and pregnancy

My husband and I after a longer while of trying have found out we are pregnant with our first baby, however around the time I conceived I believe I developed a dvt which we assume until tomorrow developed in my left leg. They have started me on injections into my stomach twice daily until they can see better on the ultrasound. However I am so extremely panicked. I'm so anxious and my heart will not chill out. The Doppler test has come back positive, my hcg for week 4 is 980, but am now experiencing numbness in my face and pain in back of head. I honestly feel like I want to faint. The hospital has asked me to wait it out until the morning but I am just so afraid. Has their been anyone else out there at 30 who has got through this?

Thank you so much for responding I feel somewhat better knowing that this is more common than they say. The injections were a bit of a fright. I did not expect it just two days after being told I was pregnant. I did exactly what you did I think which is why the pain went to my groin. Spent most of year finishing post grad not really moving about and then fully active. And I ignored thinking mm no just being overly anxious and annoying. And it just didn't go away and become worse. Thank you so much for lending an ear and being supportive. I just really am afraid of death.

I Had a DVT with my 3rd The Faintness your feeling Might be due to the lack of blood flow If it concerns you keep on your doctor about it. I would have Dizzy spells Had to switch to plastic cups! When they tell you to Put your leg up do it Often dont push yourself I did that and it made mine worse it moved up. Stay on the regiment DONT miss a Dose you will have it longer if you do. I was Pretty much on bed rest Most my Pregnancy. With compression stockings Make sure you stay on your doctors about your treatment and If you Do faint tell them Its gunna suck but they may do a Hospital stay they have other treatments available. Like DVT Vacuuming I wasnt viable for that due to heart failure issues Give it 2 months if you havent seen a change as your doctor about other methods
