Decisions.... gender!

So guys my fiancé and I have decided not to find out the sex of our baby! Which is so great and exciting because of the big surprise. The only thing that has me a little skeptical about our decision is the pre shopping. I know I can just get neutral colors (yellows and greens) but if we're blessed with a little girl, of course we want her to have girly things. Anyone else with this problem, has dealt with this before or just have any advice for me? All comments will be appreciated. Thank you!!!!!

We aren't finding out either. I have decorated bubs room in a bright coloured jungle theme. If it's a girl then I will add in some more girly touches. I have only hand me down clothes at the moment, but I know as soon as he/she is born my family will be out buying things. Bub is always going to have a blanket on (I'm in Australia and we are going into Winter) no-one will really see what he/she is wearing underneath.

Sorry, I'm not much help because although I'm not finding out the gender of my baby either, this is my third child and I already have all the clothes saved from my previous boy & girl. However... I was at the store the other day and gave in... I bought 1 newborn boy outfit and one newborn girl outfit to take him or her home in. Whichever one I dont get to use will be saved for a baby shower gift for someone in the future! =)

... our nursery only has the most important, basic things right now too. meaning furniture but no accessories! baby will sleep in a bassinet next to our bed for the first few months, so we'll have time to add accessories and give the nursery the appropriate final touches! my due date is creeping up fast now too... i've been collecting a ton of ideas. i'm getting more and more excited!!

we're not finding out either. don't stress about the shopping! a newborn wears diapers and a onesie for the first month or two after birth. the minute you let everyone know you gave birth, your family and friends will go nuts in buying clothes and accessories for your new bundle. you'll have plenty of time yourself between the awkward newborn stage and baby being more stable and fitting in 0-3 month clothing. enjoy the excitment!!!! :)
