Diclectin

Hi, has anyone tried diclectin?  My nausea and vomiting has been nearly debilitating and I am in Week 6.  I have thrown up at least five times today and am very fatigued.  What have your experiences with diclectin been?  Thanks, ladies!!

You should ask about Reglan. I did Zofran and it backed me up so bad I was in pain and crying. My doc switched it to Reglan and it worked immediately with no side effects.

Update!  I just started diclectin.  Two last night before bed and one this afternoon.  After waking up, I still vomited so the additional one was taken.  So far, not back to 100% normal but some difference.  Feeling the drowsy affects of the antihistamines in the drug but drowsy beats nausea any day.  Getting there.... :)

A friend of mine took diclectin from week 5 all the way to the end. It helped, once she was up to 6 pills a day. I took diclectin for a few weeks and it helped some. Your baby needs nutrition and your current state is not safe for baby, you should definitely get diclectin! Get well quickly.

So glad to hear there's help!  I will have to get some as soon as possible and see about Zofran too.  This is my first and there was no way I could imagine it felt like this to be pregnant.

It helps with nausea but can make you drowsy.  It is the only way I survive pregnancy!

I've never tried it but my doc prescribed me Zofran. It was awesome. Makes you a little constipated, but better than feeling nauseated and vomiting all the time. Maybe check with your doc to see if it's an option for you too.
