Did your ultrasound tech let you take video or pictures?

Im reading a lot of different stories. With my 2 other pregnancies I didnt own a video device but in the last few years its become standard that phones have video recorder on them!  My phone's camera is better than the actual camera I had when my son was born in 2009. Lol
Did you record yours? My 12 week is tomorrow!

They let me record and take pictures of mine, and when i was done the lady gave me a disc with 8 short lil videos of him moving and 10 really good pictures. I think it just depends on the hospital!

My OB didn't have an issue with us recording. But the office we went to for our 20 week scan had signs posted clearly stating they didn't allow it. I didn't know that before hand an was very disappointed. You should call your OB's office an ask so you know what ttheir policy is.

My doctors will let you have a dvd of the ultrasound for $5.00 and if I see a shot that I want I just tell them and they print it for me

Yeah that was my thought! I can always put the phone on "airplane mode" so there's no signal interference if that's their concern!

I see no reason for them to say no. There's no hippa violation. So I would think it would be ok. You can call the hospital and ask for their policy though.
