im past my due date im really starting to feel scared, im so worried i feel like i did something wrong during the pregnancy. i do not want to be induce  im scared i will have to have a c-section. i wanted to go all natural this ***** :(

That's not true. A lot of doctors do give c sections if your labor is to long especially from induction. Just let them know as long as your baby isn't dying then you don't want one. They can't force you to have surgery. If the babies heart rate drops it could be as simple as chaning your birthing position.

thank you ladies.. i guess im just stressing because  i have heard that in most cases when you get induced u end up havinga c-section. i will keep your comments in mind and try to relax and of course pray for the best thank you

Don't stress miss! My grandpa told me "babies are like wizards, never late, never early. They arrive precisely when they intend too." I hope everything goes great for you! I've heard a lot of ftm go over the due date ( don't forget is an estimate anyway) I don't think you have to be induced until 42 weeks unless you want to be.

I'm bein induced in couple hours from now @ 41 weeks. This is my second pregnancy though and with my 1st I had a normal delivery at 40 weeks. Just keep strong and pray for the best. Good luck.

I was 10 days late with my first and induced with a 7hr labor. You can do it without c section. Just try to stay away from too many interventions. Stay relaxed and don't labor on your back.

You can be induced and not have to have a c section. As jelarin said it's very common to go past your due date with your first, it's nothing you did at all. Just relax, it will happen. And if not you will be scheduled for an induction date, if your doctor has not already expressed concerns of you having a vaginal birth and you aren't measuring really big you will be fine.  Good luck hopefully it happens for you soon!!!

im a ftm. i have done everything i have walked, ate pineapple, spicy food, primrose oil and nothing. i just really dnt want a csection.

You didn't do anything wrong walk for a couple blocks and have sex, that should help.

Most first time moms are a week late. You're fine. It's okay, you didn't do anything wrong.
