Do any of you know if..

You get paid maternity leave if you only work part time? I only get about 22 hours and I've been working for them for about 4 years. I haven't even thought to ask them cause I don't want to feel stupid.. :/

It completely depends on where you work and where you live. When I lived in California, I worked part time and I got short term disability that was paid by the state and I worked part time. I Got paid for 12 weeks. .. 6 weeks post partum and 6 weeks bonding time.... this time around I live in Arizona and they don't offer the same thing. I work full time and am eligibke for FMLA from my work. I qualify for 6 weeks short term disability and get paid 66.66% of my gross pay.  I can also use my sick leave and vacation leave for my FMLA and can take a maximum of 12 weeks off.

You shouldn't feel stupid asking them these questions... they are things you need to know.. I called human resources 2 weeks ago and got all the answers to my questions that I needed.. most of them were just to clarify some information

Only your company will be able to tell you. Every.company chooses what benefits they offer. I work FT. I can take 3 months but it's not paid, but I can go on short term disability if I want to get partial pay. We can't afford that so I'm banking my sick and vacation time, and will work from home after that. Thankfully I have that option.

Why would you feel stupid? You need to inform yourself of your options. Call HR and find out. I think it's a on your company not laws.
