I have never smoked, and I have asthma from second hand smoke when I was a child. My friend had behavioral issues as a child that ended up being from nicotine addiction (when he was at home he was fine, but at school he was going through withdrawal). When I was little they didn't fully understand the effects of second hand smoke, but it's becoming clearer now. I would urge them to quit, or to smoke outside, or you could try moving in with your boyfriend.

Find a smoke free place if you can! I work in a respiratory ward and see so many people come through with awful lung conditions that they got from 2nd hand smoke... At least if it was their choice they can deal with the consequences, but to suffer because of a partner or family members choice is just not fair!

they should quit for their own health!
asking them to not smoke in the house is entirely reasonable- especially not in your room. that is just f***ing rude

I think you need to talk to them about it now, their smoking in the house is putting your baby's health at risk everyday

,y husband did well quitting 3 years ago switching to a electronic cigarette

You should take your baby to the safest place. If your family isnt willing to stop smoking and you have other options use them. Second hand smoke is awful and bad for your baby.
