Hematoma?

I was told and my first ultrasound that I had a hematoma between the pregnancy sac and my uterus. They told me to refrain from intercourse and come back in two weeks. Well Friday was two weeks and I had another ultrasound and its still there but has gotten a bit smaller. My original obgyn was on vacation so the other ob seen me and he said to come back in a month and no sex for two more weeks. Has any one ever had a hematoma and if so what was your outcome?

Thanks for commenting! What I have read from others they had bleeding but for me I haven't at all. Hopefully that's a good sign. I do have quite a bit of cramping. This is my second pregnancy my first went smoothly with no worries. I'm 9 weeks and 2 days. I hope yours resolves itself. Again thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one :)

Im going threw this right now but mine isnt getting smaller its been almost a month from no heavy lifting or sex. Its very nerve racking. Most people I have talked to had success if the bleed started before 20 weeks. Im 13 weeks tomarrow and my doctor stated it should resolve and heal on its own. My mom had one and it was in between there and caused her to have a still born at 33 weeks. But she developed in late in her pregnancy. Im happy to hear yours is getting smaller that is great news!  Good luck to you!
