Aquaphor is an oitnment and acts kinda like a mix between vasiline and neospirin it says that it helps with dry cracked skin, wounds, diaper rash... I would personally choose to use Lanolin since it is for chapped skin and safe for ingestion, if you want a medical opinion i would call the pediatricians office and speak with an on call nurse.
Lanolin! I didn't think of that. I just bought some and it says that you don't have to wipe it off when you breast feed so it's obviously safe for her.
Probably anything that's for dry cracked nipples and safe to breastfeed with???
Lips dry due to needing more hydration. Olive oil works for adults. Would that be safe for a baby? Never looked it up...
Vaseline or lanolin aquaphor is more of an ointment so that could work but idk about putting it on the lips
I was going to suggest vaseline? But I would check with ur baby dr first. Isn't aquaphor a lotion? I wouldn't put that on the mouth in case ingested.
It won't harm her if any gets in her mouth?
Aquaphor!! It's amazing... I use it for my daughter and myself!
