Early U/S show only Sac

Hi. Went for an early transvaginal U/S yesterday.  Thought I was 5w3d and only measured 5w0d.  We only saw a sac with nothing in it. I'm really not sure how they claimed nothing was in it because she was only looking for about 20 seconds.  The nurse called back this morning claiming my HCG was 4080 and that if it was a viable pregnancy they should've seen something yesterday.  The rescheduled me for another set of tests monday afternoon and said if we don't see anything then they would like to terminate this due to the risk of an ectopic.  This woud be my 4th MC and 2nd ectopic in a row since July.  Honestly I'm a little worried, but I feel totally fine unlike the last ectopic! I think it was just too early to see anything! My husband is freaking! What are your thoughts?

I had 2mc, my Rainbow baby, and then an ectopic. My cycles returned to normal and I got pregnant. I apparently found out at 3weeks. Crazy! But I was sure I was 5. 3 would mean I conceived right before my period was due which isn't unheard of but not as common. So nothing showed up on the Ultrasound until I was supposedly 8 weeks aka 6 weeks. That's with a vaginal US! I mean, not even a sac showed up. I was so worried as I had no symptoms until my ectopic burst at 9 weeks and I just thought it was a miscarriage.

At 5 weeks they saw nothing on mine. 1 week later I have a heartbeat and a baby. I would also go for a second opinion.

At my ultrasound scan at 4 weeks 6 days all we could see was a sac and a yolk sac ....my hcg wasn't even as high as yours at that point that I'm aware of ....def seek a 2nd opinion at a different office .follow ur gut instinct

Definitely think it's too soon!!!!! It's common that early to not see anything! Get second opinion immediately.  I would not terminate based on that.
