Early pregnancy and Pedicures

Is it true that Pedicures are not good for early pregnancy? I am 6 weeks and someone told me that pedicures are not good bc they cause your body temp. to rise which "fries" the fetus. Is this true???

Just make sure they don't massage the back of foot by ankle and heel. It can cause you to go into labor. But if you tell them your pregnant they should know that.

Pedicures are fine and you will not fry your baby...you want to make sure that if you take baths or go in hot tubs(which you should not but just in case) that you don't cause your body temp to rise over 101-102 this can cause harm to the baby.
