Early ultrasound disappointment....

Im 10 weeks today and had an ultrasound 2 days ago. The lady could see the sac but could not confirm viability of the baby. She tried to reassure me by telling me i could be too early...possibly not as far along as my last period would suggest. also she said my uterus could be tipped causing it to be more difficult to see the baby. I got this done at a free womens clinic because my insurance doesnt cover ultrasounds...im wondering if thier equipment is just not as good as at my doctor. the clinic has scheduled me for another ultrasound on sept. 22 but i have an appt at my obgyn on sept 10 where they were planning on doing an ultrasound though i was gonna refuse the ultrasound due to the high cost out of pocket. im nervous to wait till the 22nd. i just wanted to ease my mind and see that the baby is still there and ok. i have no history of miscarriages or any pregnancy problems but i have a 12 and 13 yr old so its been a while. Anyone else ever have a early ultrasound like mine and everything turned out fine?

Thanks, possible miscarriage was mentioned at my appointment because they said they have to when they cant find the baby. I hope its just because im not as far along as i thought. Im trying to stay positive.

I was only between 4-5 weeks but thought I was 8! they said they couldn't see anything which of course had me in tears. one week later sent to hospital for ultrasound bc my hcg levels weren't rising "normal"
well at 5 weeks 6 days there was the teeny baby and heartbeat! I wouldn't assume how far you are, I was very wrong lol. I am still upset about that experience, she was already talking a possible miscarriage or threatened abortion my first visit!
Im still nervous because of her telling me it wouldn't be viable due to my hcg levels but hospital ultrasound tech told me were completely normal for 5 weeks,  w I went and found the charts online and it was spot on.
I will see this Dr. one more time now that she knows, but am already looking for a different one. im wishing both of us luck... hope this helped a little bit
