Epidural

Is the process of administering Epidural into the body painful? This is freaking me out!

The insertion of the needle is no big deal just stay still, but not feeling your whole lower body is horrible..

Only thing that scares me is hving a contraction and holding still for epidural needle but other wise its ok

Yeah its like a bee sting..my hubby said they give you a shot(the bee sting) to numb your back and then insert the long(flexible) needle into your back and you don't even feel that its in there

I'm not worried about the needle at all, I'm worried about freaking out about being numb/tingling/not being able to move normally!! lol

I hate when my foot falls asleep.. I legit almost freak out! I'm praying I can handle the epidural without having a panic attack.. "/

A poke for me.  They do it during a contraction so you will be in way more pain already and be begging for it.
