I failed too and passed the 3 hour... keep your head... I bet you pass! Just ***** that you have to be poked four times in a day. Best of luck mama!
This is my 4th pregnancy and I failed all of my previous one hour tests in my previous pregnancies. When I took the 3 hour test I passes them all. So I will most likley fail the one hour with this pregnacy. Just try to be positive and hope for the best.

I was diagnosed very early with gestational diabetes at 8 weeks, because of other underlining issues. I am now 28 weeks pregnant and have not had to go on medication or insulin due to diet and exercise control. Yes, it's an inconvenience to have to poke myself 4 times a day, but absolutely worth it to ensure I have a healthy pregnancy. It's been a complete lifestyle change as far as diet management, but a change that I should of made prior to getting pregnant. I still eat whatever I feel or crave, but in moderation and I also add a lot of veggies and lean protein. I've only gained 5 pounds thus far. Good luck and just remember, it doesn't have to be a life sentence.
Don't worry momma, they'll most likely start you off by having you watch your diet and checking your levels throughout the day (once when you wake up and fasting, the other three times during the day 2 hours after your meals). I definitely recommend the Chia seeds also. ;)
You can find em online... I read a lot of reviews about them and heard they taste terrible... I have gestational diabetes and was able to control it manage it very well through my diet until I got really sick and the numbers went haywire... I was put on glyburide and they went back down... they usually dont start you out on insulin
Chia seeds where do I find that?
Buy a bag of chia seeds and drink 2 tsp before each meal it helps control sugar spikes im a diabetic and thats what keeps me controlled
