False Labor :-(

Yesterday I experienced a first false alarm, contractions coming anywhere from every 5-10 minutes. I didn't want to go to L&D because I felt like the little boy who cried wolf, but went just to be sure.  I am 36 weeks, and I don't think she is going to last much longer in there. How many false alarms do i ignore before considering going on to the hospital? Anyone have false labor stories?

I had false labor last week and lliterally thought I was in labor but I didn't go to the hospital, I decided that if the contractions became unbearable to where I can't talk I would go to the hospital, and sure enough by morning I was feeling alot better, glad I didn't make that trip to the hospital
