False labor vs. Early labor

Last night I woke up having uncomfortable contractions every 5-10 min. I had diarrhea and was nauseous, I did throw up. I lost my mucous plug, got all packed and ready for hospital then contractions just stopped. Today I'm feeling achy back pain and just resting. I'm 39 weeks 2 days... Anyone similar experience? This is my 2nd baby and I thought I'd be able to tell if I was really in labor or not.

I'm 33 weeks and had this happen to me Saturday night. I was about 4 minutes apart and was lasting 2 1/2 minutes long for almost 2 hours. I got everything packed and ready and when I got to the car, they just stopped. Guess it just happens sometimes but since you're that close, hopefully your baby comes soon!

I early labored for 2 weeks. 2 min part very real contractions. My body would labor for 8 hours and take a break for the day. It is another standard of labor progression, but not unheard of. Once the real process started, I had baby in arms in under 4 hours. I will gladly have a non traditional standard labor pattern if it means pushing for under 30 minutes, and transitioning under an hour.

U might be in early labour now just to wait for those 3 to 5 min pains. Good luck
