i know this is not a question its more of a rant

So every time I have a Pepsi at work my co workers r always yelling at me saying how I shouldn't be drinking Pepsi but in the same sentence they say they smoked cigarettes while they were pregnant. Well u know what just shut up and let me have my Pepsi. Then the same lady says oh when I was pregnant 10 yes ago my husband would walk into the house and say wow there is nothing sexier then a pregnant women smoking a bong... Like wtf really and you want to complain BC I drink a Pepsi.

You know before I was pregnant I would wonder why my pregnant co worker was drinking coffee every day I thought no caffeine and then I found out when I got pregnant 200 mg caffeine is a safe amount and it all made sense so the people that were pregnant a while ago maybe the studies said no caffeine etc. My friends look at me funny when i have a soda or a tea but that's about it

Drives me crazy. I went to my husbands work dinner and one of his colleagues came up to me and said I shouldn't be eating the medium-rare steak I was halfway through because she heard all meat should be well done. Why are women so nasty to each other? Feels like the debates never stop, what you can vs what you can't eat, who gave birth naturally vs csection, breastfeeding vs bottlefeeding. Seems odd that we all feel we can criticise each others choices when it comes to babies.

I think they just do it to annoying me. But when they complain about the sandwich I took a huge bite right in front of them. Lol sometimes I just crave a nice big ham sandwich lol

Oh I totally agree! People around me now know better than to criticize me for having a coke when I want one, they will definitely get an ear full. Having some caffeine during pregnancy is fine!! Drinking 8 double shot espressos is probably not a good idea but a coke, cup of coffee, or iced tea is not going to hurt the baby

I don't know what it is about a pregnant lady that makes people think they can say whatever they want. I wanted a pb&j the other day so my husband and I were at the store picking up bread and I went for the white bread and some random lady said "u know wheat is better for u" to which I not so nicely responded "let me enjoy my ******* sandwich"

I drink cola as well- not in excess, but it isn't booze or cigarettes or drugs...jeez. I also eat deli meats on occasion just to spite the stupid "list" of what you "aren't supposed to have" haha! Not one person gives me a hard time at work. Only one person has mentioned the soda thing. I told them there were worse things I could be doing while pregnant. It was also a person who has smoked cigarettes throughout each of their pregnancies. :) Take another sip of that Pepsi, Mama! I'm right there with you!

I HATE that! I like to indulge in a Dunkin Donuts iced butter pecan coffee every now and then and I always get the "hmmm I hope that's decaf"
