Feeling alone

Is anyone pregnant and their partner isn't able to be involved due to being in jail or away for work or etc? And how do you feel? Is it affecting your pregnancy? You see I'm happy we're expecting together but overall I'm not happy and am hurting!

What do you mean she expresses her breast milk? The boyfriend actually drinks the milk while locked up?

I appreciate the replies. I believe pregnancy is a time where you want to  your partner there more than anything. You go through so many different changes mentally emotionally and physically. Therefore it will be nice to have your partner to go to the  doctors appointments, rub your  back and your feet etc... it  really ***** not having that person there for you. In addition to all the things you try to do for that person if they're locked up. I wish each and everyone of you nothing but the best. God bless!!!!

My sisters partner got sentenced to 15months jail with a parole period of 9months when she was 7months pregnant woth her first, his sencond. Its been hard on her. She went through the borth without him and will go through the first nearly 8months of their sons life without him. She gets upset about it. She goes and see's him 4days a week and expresses her breast milk so he can feed and bond with him. She emails him through the night and waits at home through the days so he can call her. Its a tough situation. She's basically a single Mum but then she has to run around to see him which is exhausting enough with a newborn.
