Thanks! Good luck to you too! Low,or leaking fluid can be a sign of preterm labor risk, so they are probably just sending you for an ultrasound to see what your amniotic fluid levels are and will monitor them for the rest of your pregnancy. From what I've read online about preterm labor, that seems the most likely. It will allow them to see if you're at risk for it and monitor baby. ExTra ultrasounds are never a bad thing, right? Lol
This is my 3rd pregnancy too and with my first 2 I was also induced, Dr broke water and I never had contractions, false labor, etc. I am 31 weeks and for 2 weeks now I'll have 1-2 days where I have intense pressure in my abdomen, back throbbing and pressure in my chest for a few hours and then it disappears. It doesn't hurt, it's just intense and uncomfortable and I've never experienced it before. The baby definitely isn't head down yet, she somersaults all the time still. My previous 2 were boys and they both were head down at about 25wks and stayed that way. I don't have preclampsia or gestational diabetes and my blood pressure has been normal. I'm curious to see what my Dr says next week as well, as the pressure lasts for hours at a time without letting up, which definitely doesnt sound like Braxton hicks from what I've read. Good luck with the last couple weeks you have left!
Ugh!! That's scary I called and they suspect early labor that's why they want to monitor the amniotic fluid... I will be 36 weeks in a few days so if he can hold off another week and a half I'll be happy! Lol
I also didn't have any contractions prior to going into labor with my first, just alot of back pain. My mom and doctor said I was having back labor. I remember night before my daughters due date back pain was very intense and hubby rub my back before going to bed, woke up to my water breaking at 4am, 3 hours later contractions started. However she wasn't born till 8:30 at night.
Yeah I finally got the nurses line and they had me come in... they seen one small contradiction, baby is good pain is from his position. They did send me to MFM twice a week... not sure why
Sounds like pretty normal feelings for pregnancy, but if the pain is coming and going and getting more regular as time goes on- that's something to pay attention to. The constant dull pain could be something as well, if it gets worse. You can try drawing a warm bath to see if that helps- let us know what your doctor says!
