Be careful with the soy. My midwife says it has estrogen and too much while pregnant is not good for you (bummer because I'm in love with soy beans)... She suggested lentils as an excellent protein source. :)

Ashley and ms Thompson I understand what your saying its not anyone pressuring me its something I want to do for myself and God my hisband is against it but becausr I am firm on doing it he is supporting me by doing the fast also. Definitely follow the lead of your pastor, and discuss the fish thing with him/her. Always remember with any fast, don't try to be superwoman. God honors your efforts. As far as the pregnancy, you should be able to get plenty of nutrition with the Daniel fast. God bless you!
Protein comes from soy (tofu), beans, raw nuts, iron from dark leafy greens, like spinach. Look up vegan recipes and diets :)
In my religion we fast but if you are pregnant or sick. You do not do it. The people that are sick or pregnant does it at a different time of the year. Something to think about.
Awe thanks AshleyGibson and yes your right thats the fast but my pastor said no meat. At all did not know I could eat fish. I am greatful to have prayes flowing my way from blessed women and distant family memebers during this time. Once again thanls.
21 day Daniel fast? You will be fine. My husband and i are ministers. If you are doing the Daniel fast, you can actually have fish as well. That particular fast is actually very good for you! We will be praying for You on your fast! BREAKTHROUGH! ;)
Ok and where do I get that from. And does my prenatals offer any of that. I just take them never read the box.
Well considering it doesn't sound different than a vegan diet, it should be ok. It's very important you get enough iron, protein, and calcium at this point. You might want to supplement with a calcium chew if you can't have dairy.
