Finish Line

88 days to go! My wife is uberly excited and can't stop getting in her feelings...good feelings might I add. A couple of things to combat if you all wouldn't mind shedding light on.

1. Acid reflux...how'd you deal with it?
2. Leg cramps

Anything I need to prep her for???

Leg cramps during pregnancy aren't actually indicative of dehydration or low potassium.  Doctors can't explain why it happens. I stretch alot and use body pillow between my legs at night. For acid reflux I use tums (I have a stash everywhere now!). Also milk helps me. I read that eating smaller and more frequent meals also helps. I also cut out alot of salty foods and stuff high in somdium.

Milkshakes usually work for my heartburn. As for legs use a hot compress

Acid reflux....Imodium or tums and don't lay down right after you eat. Leg cramps....BODY PILLOW! I've been dying from leg cramps since week 10 and I finally got a body pillow around week 20 and Its been unbelievable. I got mine at target. It's called like a Boppy body pillow or something and was only 30 dollars. For this I would have spent 100s lol

Hey! It's nice to see a man who has some concerns about his pregnant wife! For acid relux I've read that if she eats slower ans doesn't drink while eating it will minimize it. Also, not laying down after eating helps as well. Leg cramps are a sign of dehydration and lack of potassium, so eat more bananas and drink up!

Does she sleep propped up or on her left side. I find they help also tums freshers help but mine just got real bad so I suggest see the Dr for that as for leg cramps I eat bananas and when they happen try warm water right away. Or massage and stretch the leg. Milk also helps for both problems
