First pregnancy with questions

Hi.  This is my first pregnancy, and I'm about 5 weeks along (if the guesstimate is correct).  I am starving ALL of the time, and have strange cramps.  They feel sharp at times or like the muscles are pulling tight.  I understand this is normal for someone at 14 werks, and I'm a little concerned about how early that symptom is.  There's no spotting, I don't feel sick, and the cramps aren't constant nor are they overwhelming.

Also, I'm military, and have no doctor assigned to me and am not scheduled for an appointment until week 10, so unless I go to the ER (which I don't think I need), I'm basically relying on Google and advice from others.

Thank you!  No spotting whatsoever, and I've been getting more symptoms that seem a lot earlier than usual.  I'm just going to sit here bouncing around until I finally get that appointment; my fiancĂ© is convinced I'm further along then the initial guess.  Either way, yall have helped soothe the worrying :).

Mild cramping is normal. Just everything stretching out. Unless you have any bleeding I wouldn't worry too much. Congratulations!

I'm a ftm as well I'm 27 weeks in the beginning I was starving as well until the 8 to 16 weeks and then I had morning sickness.. in regards to the cramps it could just be the stretching and pulling getting everything ready as long as they are not severe or bleeding I think you should be good.. also I always compared it my menstrual cramps if they were as bad as those time to go to the er if just dull and achy then I'd assume the growing part.. again I am no doc .. God bless you and your pregnacy :)
