First ultrasound

Hey ladies! I'm 25 years old and going by my last period I'm estimating baby is due Jan 1st. I've never been to an OBGYN (I'm aware I should have a long time ago) and I'm curious as to what I should expect at my first ultrasound? I've looked online and asked a few friends and I'm getting mixed answers between them only doing a belly ultrasound and them using the "wand"?  I do know they are going to do blood work I just would like to be prepared for anything else thrown at me(: thanks in advance!

First OB appointment is normally an estimation of when you're due, pelvic exam, blood pressure, urine sample, and blood work. Then if you have an ultrasound already scheduled then they'll do a vaginal ultrasound with the "wand" because baby isn't developed enough to see on abdominal us.
