Fleet

30 weeks && have severe constipation , I've purchased enemas, bought mirilax && drug store stool softeners and nothing seems to be working. I used a fleet about 20 mins ago & I pray to god it helps with the pain. Sunday I tried to go but only a little came out with a **** load of blood so I'm terrified. Did fleet help elevate anyone else pain ? Would it be crazy to go to the emergency room ?? I'm just over it at this point.

Thank you ladies , I found myself in the ER 5:30 this am and didn't get out until 12pm. Had to get an enama :( on top of this I just started feeling horrible my blood pressure was low & heart rate had sky rocketed  so I had to get admitted until they got my vitals under control. Then found out I was serverly dehydrated which idk how bc I go through 9+ bottles of water a day. I'm just happy I'm alright and bit exhausted but I'm in the clear.

Hm, I would also get guidance at this point.  Call your OB and tell them!  I would not have used fleet myself.  But if your doctor is okay with it, then so be it.  Now, with rectal bleeding, there is this thing that comes into play--- color of blood.  If it is black, that's high up and very concerning.  If it is bright red, that could be from a hemorrhoid being aggravated and pregnant women often have those.  Or a polyp.  But it is always wise to get that checked out.  and when pregnant, especially so.  So, call your doctor right away and ask about this.  they may want to see you.  I don't think you need to go to the ER unless you have no doctor access.  good luck

I think you should go in and have a ER dr help....blood is never good and that much pressure could possible (I'm not sure) be bad for baby getting into position for birth and well frankly it's just uncomfortable and pregnancy is uncomfortable enough.

Last thing you need too is a ripping down there before labor...

Hope something works soon or you can go to ER (btw being pregnant usually means faster service at the ER)
