Flu & away from home!

It's 5am Ive been awake for hours!!! I'm in Ireland for work & I'm soooo sick not just pregnant sick but I have flu like symptoms, headaches fever etc. I'm here to do a important IT roll out that's already been delayed six months, my work doesn't know I'm pregnant yet which makes it harder. It won't go down very well if I just leave but part of me thinks f@!k it I'm pregnant & my baby is more important. I want to fly home, what should I do? Also does anyone know if I'm allowed to take anything?

U are allowed to take paracetamol or normal lemsip.u can get these over the counter in any chemist/pharmacy. Tell them in the chemist that u are pregnant so they give u the right medicine. Also in any of the shops or supermarkets buy a jar of manuka honey 15+ or higher strength. This works as an antibacterial product and is really good for u. Take a spoonful 3-4 times a day or even put it in boiling water and drink when its cooled down abit. The lemsip will cost around €3-4 or paracetamol the same. The manuka honey will cost around €8 or €9. Hope u feel better soon and enjoy Ireland if u can!
