Thanks ladies for the tips. Will apply them, just skeptical of taking fenugreek. 9 tablets a day, yucks, I'm taking lots of pills at the moment after c-section & got infection around the incision. I will just try eating oatmeal, lotss of water, gaterode, etc. Will wait on fenugreek until I dry up if it happens.
I tried fenugreek, for best results you have to take up to 9 pills a day, 3 pills 3 times a day. Just taking 1 a day like I was didn't make much difference and it turned my milk a light green color
You can skip the beer, just use brewer's yeast in cookies. Ground flaxseed is also good. Fenugreek tablets are all natural and also help a lot.
Mothers milk plus tablets (natural herbs)
Yea that lactating tea really helps I used it for breastfeeding my twins and also Water lots of water
Rest, eat a balanced diet, and let baby nurse whenever baby needs to. If I have been feeling low, I stay home for a dedicated milk increase day - taking it easy and nursing more than usual. And try not to stress about it. That has a negative impact on supply.
My dr also recommended beer, maybe like 1-2 a day. The yeast in the beer stimulates lactation
Thanks ladies. I appreciate your advice.
Water water water! Smart Water, Gatorade, Oatmeal, Lactation cookies/smoothies, Fenugreek, root beer, nuts, and garlic are just a few. The electrolytes in Smart Water and Gatorade help supply, but drinking enough water throughout the day is a must. There are many recipes online for lactation cookies and smoothies :)
Tons and tons of water. There is mother's milk lactation tea that works great too, but I just came from the doctor and he said the absolute best way is nursing naturally not pumping and definitely not substituting with formula
Water! Just simply drink a lot of water.
For my second child my doctor recommended me this tea, it worked alot but I forgot the name u should ask ur doc. Oh and regular warm tea with milk helps aswell I know it filled up mines lol. Goodluck!!
