over 35 is considered higher risk, but it is not like a huge magic number. but risks of chromosomal defeats and miscarriage do go up with age
i know many people that have had entirely normal pregnancies in their late 30s and early 40s. The health of the mother also plays a huge role.
they say it is harder to get pregnant over 30, i'm 33 got pregnant right away
Im 23 and high risk. Its my cervix.
I believe the risks in pregnancy increase after age 35 but it depends on the individual.
Risk during pregnancy can vary a lot from woman to woman. There are increased risks to your baby when you are over 35. But there are also risks for overweight women, underweight women, diabetic women, women with mental illness, and young teen mom's have an increased risk of preterm labor. In a way almost all women have risk, that is why taking care of ourselves is so important!
