Frequent = Labor??

I'm 37 weeks and 2 days and sorry for
the TMI but for the past couple of,days, I've been having more frequent bowel movements than usual, not diarrhea just more frequent "soft"stool. Has anyone experienced this before and know what it might be? I've also been having very light menstrual like cramping. Painless though.

I'm 35 weeks and have been having the same symptoms! I don't know if I've dialated though, I'm too early so I hope not

I'm 38+2 and I also have been getting soft stool as well more frequent and lower back pain and cramping. I'm also 2cm 0% effaced. I hope it means he's coming soon!

Sounds like body preparing for labor. I've been having the same except I wish my cramps was painless with a constant dull back ache and was told I'm in early stage of labor which can last hours to weeks. So far it's been a week and everyday I feel worse each day but thankfully tomorrow will find out if I moved past 2cm dilated and 0% effaced.
