Just hopped out of a nice relaxing bath and I can safely say that warm baths are great and through my extensive google research and chatting to the midwife are also safe :)

Yes, but once your water breaks then no due to risk of infection...

I was told as long as you're not taking a bath in hotter water than your own body temperature

I've heard yes, but not first trimester because if your body temp goes too high in early pregnancy it can cause birth defects.

I'm on #4 and have always taken hot baths. I just don't fill it to the point where my big ol bump is emerged totally as well. If I know I'm hurting pretty bad and I'll want to sit longer I just don't make it quite as hot. If you ever think your water has broken then Def not because it can cause infection.

Just drink plenty of water before and after to keep from getting dehydrated.. my ob said hot baths are fine as long as your skin isn't getting red and your not getting over heated.

You don't want to raise your body temperature. So not a hot bath. I think warm is okay. You just have to be a normal body temperature

My ob said baths are fine even hot ones since tub water cools off so quickly.I wouldn't go in anything that keeps the water hot tho.
