GOT A MEMBRANE SWEEP TODAY

Had a membrane sweep done around 12pm...if I don't go into labor on my own I'll be induced tomorrow morning!!!!! Finally gonna see my baby boy!!

They strech the cervix and sweep out the mucus plug as much as they can. It is uncomfortable but usually doesn't take long. I hope it works for you. :-)

It's basically the doctor uses their fingers and try to separate the membrane from your cervix. My doctor said he swept the neck of my womb. I have to children and it's the first time I ever heard of it. A lot of people said it hurts getting it done, but it didn't hurt for me.

Sorry if this is stupid question but what exactly is a membrane sweep? I've had two babies years ago but can't remember that at all

My first labor was about 24 hours. My second was no longer than 8 hours. I'm already 3cm and 50% thinned out. So praying this was is faster.

Yes it was my first sweep. I was induced with my first and second children. Just waiting now.
