I gained 17kgs with my first at lost it all without really doing much. This time tho I've been a bit more careful as I was already 90kgs and the hospital told me I didn't need to put on more then 9kg, now 32wks and have gained 6kgs. It all depends on how much you weighed prepregnancy. If you were underweight or its your first baby you are inclined to put on more and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I'm 37w +5 days and have gained 30 lbs.
Im 30+3 days and I've gained 26lbs. I was also very thin pre pregnancy though, so most people think im all belly, but I've gained in other places too. I have pants that were loose, but now they fit everywhere except for the waistline. Lol. I'm okay with the weight gain, but I figure "ideally" I'd like to stay around 40lbs or less weight gain.
If your eating healthy and have a healthy pregnancy, meaning no thyroid issues, or gestational diabetes you will only gain wait that you and your baby need.
I'm 39 weeks plus 1 and have gained 42 lbs.... I weighed 156 at my last appointment, which means I was seriously too skinny to begin with. Eat healthy, moderate exercise, and no stress :-)
I'm 34 weeks gained 24 lbs
My doctor told me I gain a lot of wait I'm 23 weeks I gain 11 ponds so he told me to exercise .. . But its hard not to eat I'm very hungry most of the time ftm.
im right there with ya! 26wks and close to 20 to 25 lbs depending on the day. i just taken into consideration that im mostly belly and boobs went from an F cup to a H and no one thinks i look like ive put on much besides a belly. remember your retaining alot of fluids (roughly 7lbs for the average pregnancy your blood volume doubles you got about 2 or more lbs of amniotic fluid and up to another 2 or 3 lbs for the placenta) and your baby may be close to 2 lbs by now! im measuring a week ahead so i think mine might be a 3 pounder already lol - reading about the break down of why your gaining weight might make it alittle easier to digest. your body is doing what it thinks is right and your doing all the right things so i wouldnt stress. if you were eating poorly and mot exercising id be more concerned but you are so you'll bounce back faster. congratulations and I hope this helps!
Not 12 lbs.12 kilos..means around 30 lbs
12 lbs isn't horrible I gained 15 that time and am up by 16 and I'm 31+1 day. As long as baby is healthy that's all that matters good luck:)
