I don't know about the chances of the baby being bigger but my wife has it. They told us to stay away from pasta and rice. Try to keep your carbohydrate intake down. Abs obviously stay away from sugary things Get a glucose reader and two hours after every meal numbers should be below 120.

Gd isn't too bad just have to portion control and watch the things that you eat. After you do it for a while it's pretty easy.
Eat healthy, stay away from refined sugar and prossesed food. I'm plus size ftm mama and my doctor told me to eat like I already have diabetes. I had the 1 hour test failed it so she made me do the 3 hour test and passed that at 19 WEEKS, then she said she'll make me take the other one at 28 weeks and also passed that. So just eat health and refrain from extra sugar
