Gestational Diabetes

So I was diagnosed with GD after doing a 3 hour blood test. I am only just above the range of normal so I don't need any medical intervention. I just have to watch what I eat and monitor my blood sugar levels (prick my finger 4 times a day!). Also I get to have another ultrasound (im 29 weeks) so yay to that.
Any way I just thought I would share because I know that a lot of women see GD as a big bad, it isn't ideal or what anyone would pick, but its not as bad as some seem to think!
Plus sides are I get another ultrasound and I may get to meet my baby earlier than expected!! :)

I have it also. I have found that the Healthy Choice meals are great, make monitoring my carb intake so easy to manage. I also only had one elevated level (my fasting level) so this can be controlled thru diet. So far so good :)

I don't eat much either but as long as what I eat is healthy its all good. Also keeping up with the light exercise is a must. There is no point in stressing because that's not good for you or bub.
