i am really worried

My last period was on 23.12.13.we had sex on 2.1.14,5.1.14 and 13.1.14.me and my husband were trying for a baby since November 2013.but periods were not regular since i was 14 years.i had hormonal problems so i had heavy and prolonged bleeding.till Feb 2011 i took hormonal tablets. But after marriage i stopped it.so till Feb 2013 i was having irregular periods. But after Feb 2013 i was getting periods each month but my cycles were not regular.it was like one month 28 other month 34 or 36.or other month 24 or 27 days.but bleeding was normal and it takes 7-9 days.but Jan 2014 i didn't get periods.so we did test by blood and it was negative.we waited for 10 days and again did on 8.2.14 and it was positive.we consulted doctor and did a scan but nothing was seen.so they asked to repeat after 7 days.and this time we saw only corpus luteum.dr said its too early.and if there is any pain/bleeding i should come .and he prescribed me Dusphaston 10mg for twice a day.so is it safe to take it?i've read that its banned in UK.and it causes side effects to baby..pls help

I had very similar issues with my hormones & irregular periods. After 5 months of trying to get pregnant, I miscarried in December 2013 at 4 weeks. A friend of mine suggested that I start taking prenatal vitamins to help better prep my body for pregnancy as she struggled for 8 months but ended up getting pregnant shortly after starting vitamins.  So I found a great brand of prenatals & started them right away. I went to my doctor following the miscarriage & she said the prenatal vitamin theory was just simply pure luck & that a blood test at day 20 of my cycle would be needed to check my hormones & go from there. I get the blood test & was told my hormones would not support a pregnancy but she'd prescribe progesterone suppositories to be inserted starting day 14 of my next cycle......well......just 10 days after that devastating blood test, on Jan 23, 2014 I found I was pregnant....never even been able to start the progesterone!  I called my doctor right away & was instructed to start the progesterone twice a day ASAP to help support my pregnancy. I'm now 8 weeks & still doing the hormone treatments, but am a firm believer that the prenatals were just enough to help me get pregnant! Sorry for the long novel.
