Nesting

I'm tired of people saying I'm nesting. I'm always and have always been a busy body. I love cleaning, cooking, painting, arts and crafts. Now that i have four weeks left every time I'm getting stuff done around the house people keep saying I'm nesting. I've told my fiance this is what i always do which he had to agree. I'm just wanting to get all those little things done now before I have my hands literally full with no time to do anything. Just had to rant.

I'm amazed at how little people know! This is my first pregnancy and I've learned a whole lot of what not to do and say to a pregnant woman just from my own experiences..

Ugh Susamor yes! People should know better then to drop in on a pregnant woman and if they do then they should no better then to comment on the house...

Yeah people's comments can be really annoying right around this time.  Its like they're insults.  The one that bothers me is when I'm not feeling good at all so I'm not caught up with my chores yet and I get unexpected visitors that tell me doing chores is good for my pregnancy, as though I don't do chores. Aarrrgggg....!!!

Its like Christmas shopping in September. Your just preparing so your not rushing around when baby is here. Nothing wrong with being a little prepared.

Im 15 weeks and I see how this could be annoying.  People are acting like you are doing work that might be not needed because you are nesting, yet, they should just pitch in and help out.

Isn't that the definition of nesting tho lol, getting things ready before baby comes? This is my first pregnancy, so I'm not good with a lot of the lingo :) and I'm only 9weeks so I'm not at that point anyways. But why get upset about it, if nesting means preparing for your baby then isn't that what you want to do?  Just curious, sorry if I got the meaning wrong. Good luck ladies :)

Ugh me 2!!! We have just swapped our bedroom with my 2 sons so obviously this means a big clear out of junk, redecorating & diy! No I'm not nesting either!!!! Just doing all this stuff now b4 I have no time!!!! Lol :@

Lol!!!! Sorry to "laugh" but you sound like me!! Ive been getting my daughter room all set up (28w3d) and everyone is like "look at you nesting already!!" Im like "NO, its called PREPARING FOR THE BIRTH OF THE BABY IN MY STOMACH" do they think this **** will get done by itself?? Lol nope, somebodys gotta do it! And who else but mommy?? :)
