Group B Strep?

I tested positive for that and my quite sure what that means, any women had or have that?  Doctor also mentioned setting up an induction date. Thoughts?  I'm 36 week today,  due March 18th.

Thank you so very much!  I was worried over it and wasn't given much info on it. I feel a lot better about it now!

I am also positive and it just means what dani said, it can cause an infection during birth so they give you antibiotics during labor. The chances of infection are so remote though so there are absolutely no worries!

They will give it to you during your induction if that's the route you go or when you go into active labor.

I am group b strep positive. All it is is a type of bacteria that lies in your vagina. They will simply give you antibiotics to clear the infection so that your baby doesn't get it when you give birth. No biggie :)
