Group B Strep!

What is this!?! And how did I get this. I'm so scared I'm 36 weeks and  2 days. Is it too late to cure it!!!

You either have it or not. You could have it with one pragnancy and not another. It is just an imbalance of bacteria down there.
They give you antibiotic when in labor to help so baby doesn't get sick. It can cause meningitis.
There is nothing you could have done to get it or prevent. You did nothing wrong.

It's normal. :) I had it with my first child. They gave me antibiotics when I went into labor and I had to stay an extra night at the hospital so they could monitor my son. We had zero complications from it. :)
(Staying the extra night was routine for the hospital I was at. I don't know if they do that every where.)

Nothing to worry about. Won't hurt u or baby they will take care of it, you'll have a normal delivery and it will go away sometime on its own

Very normal and yes you can still deliver vaginally they will give you antibiotics during delivery n that is all. I had it with my second n not my first so it's not something you have every time.

This is a normal bacteria 20% of women carry, doesnt hurt us but could baby so if positive you get antibiotics during labor, no biggie at all!

I just got the result today and they're closed on the weekend. I'm just nervous so thank you for your feedback. Would this prevent a vagina dekievery

Im not exactly sure how u get it or what exactly it is, but i had it with my first daughter. Youll be fine, they will just treat u with antibiotics and ur baby as well once born.

It's just bacteria you get during pregnancy..very common..they just give u antibiotics for it at delivery..did your doctor talk to you about it?
