A glass of milk will help for sure. Also chewing gum helped me when I was out of the house. I had really bad heartburn but nowadays I tend not to eat foods which increase my acid ( no tomatoes, no garlic, no onions, nothing with lemon or anything that's sour ). I also sleep halfway upright (45 degrees ) with loads of pillows under my shoulders and that made a big difference for me. If all fails I take Gaviscon. You can buy that from any pharmacy or supermarket. You don't need prescription and it's safe in pregnancy.

You can try some milk, or Tums. Tusms are my best friend. My ob also said its ok to take Zantac. Prop yourself up as much as you can when you sleep too. Good luck mama!
