Its not technically constipation until its been 3+ days and the stools are hard pebbles. Its very common for breastfed babies to only go like once a week but if you are concerned you can try checking a rectal temp (to stimulate the sphincter) bicycling the legs, and gentle massage on the tummy. Never use a suppository or enema in a baby that young unless directed to by your pediatrician.

Breastfed babies can go up to a week without pooping. Breastmilk is so pure their little bodies use most of it..so there isn't always a lot of by product. My son would go days in between poops.

My baby is also 3 weeks old.
His doctor told me that it's normal for breastfed babys to go without pooping for a few days.
Maybe u our baby has colic?
My baby had really bad colic and we started giving him gripe water
It's for colics for newborns
And it works wonders my baby doesn't get as fussy
