I've had a c-section with 1st baby and plan to have a 2nd section with this baby. Honestly I recovered in 3 weeks. As in I'm walking carrying baby just taking it easy I have bad pregnancy because I'm so sick from vomiting and nausea the c-section was a walk in the park compared to the issues u had in pregnancy. Towards the end my swelling was so bad and I had high blood pressure plus so much pain on my nerves I couldn't sleep at night. This pregnancy all that started early. Hence I think c-section is better than the actual pregnancy. Just keep exercising as much as you can and you'll have quick recovery
You've gotten really great advice. I think the surgical aspect and recovery of c section can be a bit scary to think about but women who have it do just fine. My sister had both a c section with her first and then Vbac with her next two. She said the c section had its pros and cons to Vbac and couldn't pick one to be better than the other for her. Let us know what you decide! Lots of women wish they had a choice so its nice your doctor gives you one@ good luck hon
I don't know, I tore with both of my kids worse with my second because of complications during labor, I would not want a c-section but that is just me even when I tore end to end with my second I was healed up in less then two weeks that is still faster then a c-section. Yes it hurt but in the end it was still a faster recovery. I know I will probably tear again this time but me and my Dr are going to do everything possible to avoid a c-section there is more risk involved with it. But you said there is other factors like a prolapse I would ask your doctor the risks both ways and weigh them out and go with the fastest recovery with the least risks
I think if you have the help at home and your able to do a c section go 4 it. Why put ur body through more trauma then its already been through... Youll be ok its being safe then sorry.. Ive done all natural and im planning a natural for this pregnancy as well but if i was in ur shoes id prob go with c section bc u already torn once who knows what might happen the next... Good luck and only u know what ur body is capable of...
