My sections were atleast 17 months apart and I still feel a stretching burning naggin discomfort in my incision because of stomach expanding.
I had my c-section in october 2015 and got pregnant a little over 2 months later(jan6). I'm now 11 weeks and I've also been having pain on my incision/ scar. My dr. Said it's completely normal though, and it may get worse the bigger i get/further along.
I am about to have my 4th baby and my youngest is not even 14 months old. I know the pain you are talking about. But like I said if you start bleeding get to the hospital.
It is normal to feel dull, stabbing or even feel like your tearing. It is because your skin is stretching from the second baby. The longer between c section and next pregnancy can determine how much pain you have there. But if you start bleeding from the scar I suggest you get to the hospital.
Thanks ladies☺ I'm glad I'm not the only one. Its definitely not intense pain. It comes and goes. I'm also running around with an 18 month old so maybe I'm moving around too much! Lol gotta keep up with that spitfire!
It's actually pretty normal. Mine hasn't hurt much this pregnancy but I have had friends and am in groups in FB for moms who have had cesareans and its a common question. It may go away only to come back again towards your third trimester. If you are really concerned about it, you can ask your doctor during an US and have them look. I wouldn't suspect a uterine rupture since that is an intense pain. It's most likely just because your uterus is expanding.
I had it early on I only had my second section in March last year and I'm now 31 weeks between 15-20 weeks I had a dull achy pain in my scar it where everything is stretching it sometimes felt kinda numb and wired too I wouldn't worry to much as you have left well over a year between pregnancies so your will be well healed Hun
Not sure if it's normal. My friend told me her niece had uterine tissue growing into her abdominal area though, but she had back to back c sections within a year
Most likely it's just because your abdominal area is expanding for the baby
