3 hr glucose test
Failed the 1hr. I'm 30 weeks and on my way to the doctors to take the 3hr test. Has anyone else taken the 3hr but failed? :/ They said I would be considered high risk if I fail again
I failed both the 1 hour and 3 hour. So now they say I have gestational diabetes. My numbers weren't extremely bad so they let me control it with diet only and no insulin. At first I was very upset and thought I did something wrong but it can happen to anyone. I didn't have it with my first pregnancy but got it with this one. Once I met with the dietician it really helped me to figure out how many carbs I could have at a time in a day. It's hard sometimes to cut back on sweets and manage your portions, but it's all worth it in the end to make sure you'll have a healthy baby. Good luck with everything!
