really bad back pain, 37 weeks

I'm 37 weeks and all day I have had really, really bad back pain. And my left leg hurts when I lay down, even when I'm not laying on that side, is there any thing I can do to help the pain? I'm going crazy, and to top it off I can't lay on my back because it hurts my belly.

I would call your Dr.  Are you having any swelling?  You might be having gall bladder issues or a blood clot...  I always default to calling the Dr when I'm pregnant and in pain.

At 37 weeks it really sounds like you may be experiencing back labor.....is it a constant pain or does it come and go?

I am a massage therapist and chiropractor does wonders and so do massage therapist. But until then put ice one your low back 15 mins every hour. The baby is probably sitting on your sciatica nerve which will go down to your legs and toes.
