Heart problems in week 21

Hi everyone. I'm in my 21st week and I have noticed that when I change sides during sleep,  from left to right,  my heart starts working very hard. It beats so hard that I start coughing and it feels like it will come out of my chest. Its a very scary feeling.  Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

I went through this too and it was very scary. I had heart palpitations constantly But my dr assured me it was normal as your body is producing more blood and working harder. It has actually went away the further along I got. Worrying about it can make it feel worse. It was really scary at times but just need to calm yourself and remind yourself that this is normal during pregnancy.

You should ask your doctor about it... you could have high or low blood pressure or something worse. For sure make sure you are drinking lots of fluids either way!
