You can get a non invasive DNA test that only requires a blood sample from you and the father. It's called Natera. All you have to do is come up with an excuse as to why he would have to go with you and have blood drawn. Other than that you'll have to wait til after. Ask your Dr if he/she offers that test.

I'm sorry,  but I don't think the above is correct^^^. I worked out the dates as well and it looks like you ovulated around the 12th of May, Which would make the fling the father.  But like everyone had said,  can't be 100% sure. .

Ok I looked at the calender for you and you concieved the week of the 5th or before or a little bit after. I was always told to go with the first date. With that being said sperm lives in your body up to 5 days and with that I would say your boyfriend. But the only way to be sure is to take a paternity test. But my thoughts is your boyfriend. Because if it was your fling it would have to be the 10th through the 14th providing you only slept with him on that date and none other. Hope this helps but my best advice is a dna test. GOOD LUCK!!!!

I am due around the same time and i am told I conceived early May. This would fall into your fling time. Perhaps a paternity test would be more definitive though.

Its really hard to be 100% sure. But I mist likely conceived may 19th and am due February 13th. So if your due date is 11 days before mine, you probably conceived in or around May 8th. You won't know for sure until having a paternity test after birth, but it sounds like the father is the fling.

I'm sorry,  but based on everything you have said,  it looks the man you had the fling with is the father.  Of course I don't know 100% but that's what the numbers show. It's possible to do a paternity test while the baby is in utero,  but that would require an amniocentesis (which is risky for the baby) and would be costly to you.

Shawna have you had a transvaginal ultrasound yet? If so,  what was the date of the scan and how far along did they say you are? That would greatly help us give an educated guess.

I've been on other pregnancy boards and many people have said that the sooner the dating ultrasound the more accurate. With that said, they are not 100% accurate. Do you think the light bleeding you had could have been a period or implantation bleeding? I'm not expert either but if you only had bleeding when wiping, to me it sounds more like implantation bleeding. Have you googled pictures of implantation bleeding? I know, gross, but maybe you can compare what you had to what other women had? My periods are very regular and last always like 4 or 5 days. About a week or less after the day of my ovulation (and a week before I was supposed to start my period), I had just a little bit of blood when wiping. That had never happened to me before so I think that was implantation bleeding in my case. That's why I thought I was farther along. But it can take some days for the egg and sperm to meet. Like I said, it's very difficult to know when it actually happened unless you know the exact date you ovulated.
I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

i  did have unprotected sex with both guys & at first my ultrasound was said to be feb 2nd on the next visit he said end of January which gave me second thoughts & don't they say you are more likely to get a yeast infection while pregnant because i got one before i had sex with the fling

Oh and it took my SO and I about 6 months to get pregnant without any type of contraception so the fact that you slept with your bf for 6 months w/o getting pregnant doesn't really mean much. It takes even longer for some healthy couples trying to conceive.

Sounds to me you were already pregnant when you started spotting. I'm no expert tho. Put in the date of your last normal menstrual cycle and see what dates you come up with. and, it doesn't matter how long you've been sleeping with someone before you conceive it only takes that one special time. I was with my bf for nine yrs before I got pregnant. Shock of a lifetime. Good luck.

To me it sounds like you don't think the light bleeding you had was actually your period. It could have been implantation bleeding. Did you have unprotected sex with both guys? Have you had a dating ultrasound?  I thought I should be a week farther along than what my midwife said when I had my dating ultrasound, meaning that I could have ovulated later than what I thought. This happens all the time, unless you actually used an ovulation prediction kit to pinpoint the exact date of ovulation. Maybe you ovulated before,  making your bf the dad but I don't think you'll know for sure because the dates are so close together. I think the best thing would be to do a paternity test. It might be hard to deal with the situation but I don't see how you could know for sure who the dad is and you have to think of the consequences in the long run. Best of luck to you and your baby!

It's truly difficult to say but maybe this will help. I was always told that your period is your body getting rid of your egg for that month cycle and preparing for a new egg for the next cycle. So after your period ends you most fertile day is about 2 to 3 days after your period ends. So with that fact you are probably by the fling. Although I have heard of some girls who during there first month of pregnancy they had an extremely light  period that only lasted a few day. However they were already pregnant while having there period. From the way you talk the last period was not like your normal period. I hope this helps.
