Heathy Foods

I'm a first time mom and I'll be 4 months on Wednesday. In my first 3 months I was sick all the time, the only thing I could eat was cereal, fruit and veggies. I want to continue to eat healthy but cereal arent filling me up anymore. What are some healthy foods that I can try.....I really don't have much taste for meats either.

I eat whole grain toast with no-sugar peanut butter and banana a lot because it's easy and healthy. Also smoothies with yogurt,  fruit and spinach. Roasted veggies (whatever kinds you like) over quinoa.  That last one is good with chicken in it too, or salmon.

Sounds like you need extra protein, so maybe try adding to your diet eggs, cheese, chickpeas, other beans/legumes, some canned fish, fruit/veg smoothie with protein powder and plain yoghurt, nuts and seeds (I make up bliss balls to snack on as I don't like nuts and seeds by themselves, but once you add some dried fruit or a bit of honey, they are much more edible).
I had the same problem, just really couldn't stand meat, trimester 2 I was much better and could eat eggs, fish and chicken, and it's finally all fading at 32 weeks and I've actually felt like red meat lately.

Chicken breast, veggies.. fruits.. salmon .. I eat alot of berries like cherries strawberries n mangos. N some lean sirloin. . Just what is healthy for anyone. When I get cravings I peanut butter n jelly (just a bit of jelly) on wheat bread. Once a month I get myself a peanut Carmel apple (not the ones with all the junk snacks on it) just to kill my junk food cravings.

Make sure they heat up the ham first for you because it's deli meat.

Okay I'll try that....the only meat I really care to eat is ham and the ham from Subway on my subs. It's good to know I'm not the only one with this problem!

I'm in the same boat! I'll be 4 months on Thursday. The thought of meat makes me sick. It's weird! I also want to know what helps so I looked online and they said sweet potatoes and also eggs and peanut butter. Not combined but those were some of the things that could help.
