But I been spotting for more than a week now & I read that it can be for days, weeks, even months ! Are you serious? I cant take it anymore does it really happen ? ..anyone been on the shot before? When will the spotting stop? ... Any help or advice .. Thank you ladies!

I tried it once back in 2006.. I hated it!! It messed my periods up for a couple of months and made my stomach hurt so bad I actually ended up at the hospital once because of it. It's not worth it to me. That's What caused me to be anti birth control.

Same here! I bled for 3 months. My Dr tried to tell me some "spotting" was normal. NO. I had full on medium to heavy period every single day. He convinced me to get a second one the next 3 months. Another 3 months of hell. It was honestly one of the worst times ofmy life! I will never do it again. So sorry you are having trouble too :(

Depo is the shot from hell, I took that shot after having my older daughter and put back on my baby weight I lost and I felt very weird around the time of my period smdh it was too much.

If the spotting doesnt go away in a week switch to something else, because I have not really heard anything positive

I had horrible side effects from anything with hormones, ended up just using condoms for eight years. I had no problem getting pregnant, I was very familiar with my cycle
