Help!! itchy rash at only 8 wks?!??

I'm 8 wks along and about 1 WK ago my breasts started itching.. The more I scratched I noticed a red rash that created little bumps. It slowly moved down underneath my breasts to my stomach and sides. Its no longer on my breasts anymore but on my stomach and itches like crazy!!! The bumps r slightly red and raised I was using Palmers cocoa butter and stopped using it 2 days ago. I just got some anti itch cream and hope that works. Has anyone else experienced this before? Help plz!! I'm soooo itchy!!!

Thank u :)the cream I got tonight is the athletes foot cream I figured I will use this first and see if it helps :) hopefully it will. I looked up pupps and it says most likely that's later in pregnancy but not always the case. Hmmmm I guess I will try one thing at a time and go from there

I had an itchy rash on my stomach and then it went up to my breasts. I read it could be "pupps" or a yeast infection of the skin. These would be treated totally different. I asked my midwife and she said to first try an anti itch cream like benadryl.. But the creams did not help. I went into Walgreen's and the pharmacist said to try the athletes foot cream (its used for fungus and not harmful to baby) she said if it a yeast infection that it was probanly from when i was working out and was sweaty etc.  Soo, two days later NO ITCHING!!! I used it for 4 days just to be sure it was gone. GOOD LUCK

If its spreading I would make sure to tell your dr/midwife. I've read some articles that say pregnancy rashes can be bad for you or could be nothing... I just started developing a rash on my upper tummy  (32 weeks along) and its crazy itchy so I will be talking to my midwife on tuesday!
