Youll probably have to have appointments made for extra scans to check the growth of the baby as the baby can be larger than normal if you have gestational diabetes (32 and 36 weeks i think th3 scans normally are)..theyll probably talk to you about induction closer to your due date, especially if the baby is bigger than average. Theyll probably talk to you about your diet aswell. Nothing to worry about though..
okay great thank you for your help!
Yeah it's called a non stress test. They'll monitor fetal movement over an hour time period.
Do they monitor the baby at all? Like hook it up to a machine?
They'll start discuss your diet, possible treatment options, the possibilities of induction, and how it will effect both you and the baby. Everything else should be normal. They may even check your fluid levels.
By the way 30 weeks tomorrow!
